From Leaf To Cup
Our tea follows a meticulous journey from cultivation to your teacup. Learn about each step in creating our premium Kenyan tea.
Cultivation
Our tea plants are carefully cultivated in rich volcanic soil at the perfect altitude.
Harvesting
Only the top two leaves and bud are hand-picked to ensure premium quality.
Withering
Freshly picked leaves are spread out to naturally wilt and reduce moisture content.
Rolling
Leaves are rolled to break down cell walls and release essential oils.
Oxidation
The rolled leaves are exposed to oxygen, developing the rich flavor and color.
Drying
Leaves are dried to halt oxidation and preserve flavor at its peak.
Packaging
Tea is graded, sorted by quality, and carefully packaged to maintain freshness.

Tea Tasting Experience
Join us for a guided tea tasting experience at Gathoni Park Farm, where you’ll learn to appreciate the subtle nuances and complex flavor profiles of our various teas.

Our expert tea guides will walk you through proper brewing techniques and tasting methods, helping you identify the unique characteristics that make each of our teas special.
The tasting includes samples of our signature black tea as well as our herbal infusions, accompanied by local snacks that complement the flavors.
Tasting Session Details:
- Duration: 1.5 hours
- Available daily at 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM
- Includes tasting of 5 different teas
- Complimentary Kenyan snacks
